Obsidian Knight RPG Codes 2026: Latest Working Codes, Free Orbs, Builds, Gear, and Nightmare Guide

Type:Blog Date: Author:admin Read:7

The first few hours of Obsidian Knight RPG can be misleading. You walk into a stage, your knight starts cutting through enemies almost automatically, you pick a couple of skill cards, grab some equipment, and everything feels pretty relaxed. Then the game begins throwing enemies at you that hit like trucks, your armor disappears in two attacks, and suddenly that pile of Gold you thought was enormous barely pays for one meaningful shop upgrade.

Obsidian Knight RPG Codes 2026: Latest Working Codes, Free Orbs, Builds, Gear, and Nightmare Guide

That is exactly why I always check Obsidian Knight RPG codes whenever I come back to the game. A redeem code is not going to magically clear Nightmare for you, but free Gold, Obsidian Orbs, PvP rewards, and promotional bundles can save a surprising amount of grinding. Obsidian Orbs are especially important because upgraded skill cards make a massive difference once the difficulty starts depending less on basic stats and more on getting a strong combination of skills during a run.

As of August 10, 2026, the newest reliable code tracking still lists six active codes: SUMMER26, TPY500, ACT3ISHERE, 10KMEMBERS, OBSIDIANACT2, and DUNGEON2025. DUNGEON2025 has a confirmed reward of 1,000 Gold and 120 Obsidian Orbs, while TPY500 was released to provide 500 PvP trophies after a league-reset issue. The precise contents of some newer promotional bundles are not publicly itemized, so I would rather tell you “free reward bundle” than invent an Orb amount that may be wrong.

Codes are only one part of this guide. I also want to cover what actually matters after you redeem them: which upgrades deserve your Orbs, why critical-hit and stun combinations become so valuable, which armor sets are worth saving for, how PvP doubles as a Gold-farming system, and why Nightmare rewards defensive synergy much more than a basic “stack all damage” build.

I. Introduction to Obsidian Knight RPG Codes

A. What Are Obsidian Knight RPG Codes?

Obsidian Knight RPG codes are promotional strings released by ActFirst Games or shared through the game's community channels. You enter them through the in-game Settings menu and receive the attached reward immediately.

They work like the gift codes you see in a lot of mobile RPGs, but Obsidian Knight does not flood players with a new code every weekend. Releases tend to be tied to major updates, Discord milestones, community events, compensation, seasonal promotions, or large content additions. That is why some older codes stay useful for months while others show up for one specific event.

The game itself is a roguelike-style RPG where your knight automatically moves through battles while you make the decisions that actually determine whether the run survives: which skills to choose, which camp reward to take, which equipment to invest in, and how to combine offensive and defensive effects. The official game description specifically emphasizes skill synergy, randomized runs, equipment collection, PvP, and permanent character progression.

That matters because most code rewards feed directly back into those systems. Gold gets you closer to better equipment. Obsidian Orbs improve skill cards. PvP-related rewards help with competitive progression. A code therefore has more value than its raw number suggests if you spend the reward on the correct permanent upgrade.

B. Why Redeem Codes Matter for Progression

The early game is generous enough that you may not feel desperate for resources. Later, Gold starts disappearing at an uncomfortable rate.

Once better shop tiers and armor sets become available, saving Gold becomes much more important than buying every slightly stronger helmet you see. Experienced players often recommend using ordinary gear only when you are genuinely stuck and saving the serious money for high-level weapons and set equipment.

Obsidian Orbs are even harder to ignore. Upgrading skill cards improves their effects, and raising the complete card pool can also increase the number of rerolls available during runs. That becomes extremely important in Fever Dream and Nightmare because a bad opening selection can make the entire stage dramatically harder. Community players repeatedly recommend prioritizing card upgrades before dumping everything into secondary systems.

This is why I never leave an active code sitting unused. Even a small Orb reward can move a key card toward its next level.

C. Main Types of Free Rewards Available

Most Obsidian Knight RPG codes fall into four broad reward types.

Gold is used for shop purchases and equipment progression.

Obsidian Orbs are used heavily for skill development and later progression systems.

PvP-related rewards may compensate for league issues or accelerate competitive progression. TPY500 is a perfect example because it was issued after some players had their PvP score reset incorrectly.

Promotional bundles may contain several items without the developer publicly listing every individual component in the announcement.

My advice is to redeem all active codes before deciding how to spend anything. You may be about to buy an upgrade only to discover the code bundle gives you enough currency to afford a much better one instead.

II. Latest Obsidian Knight RPG Codes 2026

A. Active and Working Codes

As of August 10, 2026, these are the codes I would try first:

CodeReward / PurposeCurrent Status
SUMMER26Free promotional reward bundleActive / newest
TPY500500 PvP trophies/points compensationActive on recent lists
ACT3ISHEREFree Act III promotional bundleActive
10KMEMBERSPromotional community reward; community reports included 50 Obsidian OrbsActive
OBSIDIANACT2Free Act II reward bundleActive
DUNGEON20251,000 Gold + 120 Obsidian OrbsActive

The August 9 code check from Pocket Gamer still includes all six, making it the most recent broad code verification I found. A separate August 6 tracker also lists the same six and identifies SUMMER26 as the newest release.

One thing worth noting is that code trackers do not always agree. An August 3 list from Destructoid only showed OBSIDIANACT2 and DUNGEON2025, while newer checks include the additional 2026 codes. For that reason, I prioritize the most recently tested list rather than assuming an older page has the final word.

B. Newly Released Codes

SUMMER26

SUMMER26 is the newest public code I would redeem first.

Players reported it directly in the Obsidian Knight community in July 2026, and several users confirmed successful redemption. Android players can use the normal Redeem button, while iOS players reported success through the alternative Repair option in Settings.

The exact reward breakdown has not been consistently published in text, so I am listing it as a free bundle rather than pretending it gives a specific number of Orbs.

TPY500

TPY500 is unusual because it was not simply a normal celebration code.

Players reported that some PvP accounts were reset to zero points after a league transition. The developer fixed the issue by allowing players to redeem TPY500 for 500 PvP trophies/points.

If you started after that incident, your account may behave differently, but the code remains included on current active-code trackers, so it is still worth testing.

ACT3ISHERE

ACT3ISHERE was released alongside the Act III period.

The official/community announcement specifically noted that Android players could access code redemption directly and iOS players could use the Repair option, assuming they were on a current version.

The reward bundle is still worth taking even if you are already deep into Act III.

10KMEMBERS

10KMEMBERS was released as a community milestone code.

Community discussion around the original post clarified that the displayed reward included 50 Obsidian Orbs, not 500—an easy mistake to make because the spacing in the graphic confused some players.

Fifty Orbs will not max your skill collection, but I will happily take free permanent progression.

C. Limited-Time and Event Codes

Event codes do not follow a fixed calendar, but there are clear patterns.

ACT3ISHERE accompanied a major content period. OBSIDIANACT2 was tied to an earlier major act/update. SUMMER26 is clearly seasonal. 10KMEMBERS celebrates the community.

This tells us what to watch for going forward:

  • new Acts;

  • large version releases;

  • seasonal events;

  • Discord/community milestones;

  • PvP compensation;

  • anniversary periods;

  • challenge-system expansions.

The Act III update was particularly significant because the developer described it as the biggest Obsidian Knight update at the time, adding Act III, set upgrades, set cosmetics/customization, increased player levels, and additional weapon options.

Whenever an update is that large, I automatically check Discord and Facebook for a code before doing anything else.

D. Recently Expired Codes

The following codes are commonly listed as expired:

  • VIPGIFT2025

  • KNIGHT100

  • BATTLEBOOST

  • FREEKNIGHT

  • HOLIDAYGEMS

  • WINTERBOOST

Destructoid's August 2026 verification places all six in its expired section.

You may also encounter CHALLENGES26 and 300DS on older code lists. I would not count either as reliably active in August. CHALLENGES26 was already producing conflicting player reports months earlier, and neither appears on the newest August 9 active list.

There is no harm in testing an old code inside the official game, but I would not build a guide around it as guaranteed currency.

III. Obsidian Knight RPG Code Rewards List

A. Free Gold

Gold is the resource most new players understand immediately because nearly every useful shop purchase seems to demand more of it.

DUNGEON2025 gives 1,000 Gold, which is meaningful early but fairly small once you reach expensive high-tier equipment. Still, free Gold is free Gold, and there is no reason to skip it.

What matters more is how you spend it.

I avoid buying a new item every time the shop offers a tiny stat increase. Those purchases feel good for five minutes but delay the point where you can afford serious weapons or complete armor sets.

If your current gear is good enough to keep progressing, keep the Gold.

B. Obsidian Orbs

DUNGEON2025 provides 120 Obsidian Orbs, while the original 10KMEMBERS reward announcement was reported by players as including 50 Orbs.

For me, Orbs are the star of the code system.

Skill upgrades affect every run. Better skill cards make it easier to construct reliable synergies, and upgrading the full card pool is tied to additional reroll opportunities. Experienced players recommend focusing heavily on these upgrades, especially before spending a large amount on Fortification gambling.

A stronger sword improves your damage.

Better cards improve your chance of assembling an entire winning build.

In Nightmare, I would rather have the better card pool.

C. Equipment and Upgrade Materials

Promotional bundles sometimes include progression items rather than a simple Gold/Orb amount.

Because newer code bundles are not always publicly broken down item by item, check your inventory and progression menus after redemption. It is easy to miss a reward when you expect the game to show one giant “you received X Gold” window.

The major Act III update also added set upgrades and additional customization systems, increasing the number of permanent progression sinks competing for your resources.

My approach is to hold rare materials until I understand which equipment I am actually keeping.

D. Special Reward Bundles

Special bundles are where players sometimes get misled by code sites.

If a trustworthy current tracker says “free rewards” but does not list the exact contents, that does not mean the code is fake. It just means the public text does not itemize the bundle.

For SUMMER26, ACT3ISHERE, and OBSIDIANACT2, I recommend redeeming them and checking your account rather than trusting a random site that claims a very specific number without showing where it came from. Current August trackers confirm the codes while leaving those bundle contents unspecified.

IV. How to Redeem Obsidian Knight RPG Codes

A. Opening the Settings Menu

Launch the game and look toward the upper-right corner.

Tap the gear icon to open Settings.

The code function is not hidden inside the shop or character menu, which makes it pretty painless once you know where to look.

B. Finding the Redeem Option

On Android, the process is simple:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Tap Redeem.

  3. Enter the code.

  4. Confirm with OK.

This flow is confirmed by current August code guides and matches what Android community players report.

C. Entering and Confirming a Code

Copy the code exactly as shown.

For example:

SUMMER26

Do not type:

summer26

Do not add a space at the end.

Do not copy punctuation from an article.

After entering the string, press OK.

I prefer copy-and-paste because the codes often mix letters and numbers, making accidental typos more likely.

D. Claiming the Reward

Most rewards are applied immediately after successful redemption.

If you redeem an Orb or currency code, check the relevant currency counter.

If the code provides a broader bundle, inspect your inventory and progression screens.

If nothing appears, restart the game before assuming you lost the reward. Large update periods occasionally produce UI delays.

V. Obsidian Knight RPG Code Redemption on Android and iOS

A. Android Redemption Method

Android has the cleanest method.

Open:

Settings → Redeem → Enter Code → OK

That is it.

The developer and code-tracking sites consistently describe this as the normal Android route.

B. iOS Redemption Method

iOS has changed over time and is the reason players keep asking why they cannot see Redeem.

Older guidance says to tap Credits three times to reveal/access redemption. More recent community reports say the button may instead appear as Repair, and players confirmed entering codes successfully through Repair.

So my current iOS troubleshooting order is:

  1. Open Settings.

  2. Look for Repair.

  3. If the code field does not appear, try the older Credits three times method.

  4. Confirm your game is fully updated.

  5. Restart after updating.

C. Platform-Specific Differences

The code itself is usually the same.

What changes is the entry method.

Android says Redeem.

Some iOS builds have hidden the same function behind Repair or the Credits interaction.

That does not necessarily mean an iOS code is unavailable.

D. Common Redemption Problems

If Android works and iOS does not, first suspect the menu path—not the code.

If neither works:

  • check capitalization;

  • remove spaces;

  • confirm you have not redeemed it already;

  • make sure the game is updated;

  • check whether the code has expired.

If SUMMER26 is working for other players but your menu shows no code field, update before concluding the code itself is invalid.

VI. Why Obsidian Knight RPG Codes Are Not Working

A. Expired Codes

The simplest explanation is expiration.

Holiday and campaign codes eventually disappear, and old SEO pages may continue showing them months afterward.

Codes like VIPGIFT2025 and WINTERBOOST are already classified as expired on August 2026 trackers.

Always compare the publication or update date of the code list you are reading.

B. Incorrect Spelling or Capitalization

Codes are easiest to handle by copy-and-paste.

Watch for:

  • letter O versus zero;

  • I versus 1;

  • accidental spaces;

  • lowercase letters;

  • punctuation copied from a sentence.

ACT3ISHERE must be entered as a code, not as “ACT3ISHERE.” with a period.

C. Codes Already Used

Most promotional codes are one-time rewards per account.

If you have been playing since Act II, you may have redeemed OBSIDIANACT2 months ago and forgotten.

That does not mean the code is broken for everybody else.

D. Server or Version Restrictions

Obsidian Knight is updated frequently enough that version differences matter, particularly around iOS redemption.

The developer's major Act III rollout included extensive systems changes, and players on older or beta versions sometimes saw features at different times.

Update the client before troubleshooting anything else.

VII. How to Find New Obsidian Knight RPG Codes

A. Official Discord

Discord is probably the best place to be early rather than late.

The game encourages players to join through the Settings menu, and code announcements have been repeated through the community shortly after appearing there. ACT3ISHERE and 10KMEMBERS both circulated heavily through the game's Reddit community alongside reminders to join Discord.

If you only check codes every few months, you may miss short events.

B. Developer Social Media

Follow ActFirst Games.

The official Facebook page has published Obsidian Knight promotions and explicitly announced OBSIDIANACT2 as a redeem code.

Current code guides also point players toward ActFirst's Facebook, X account, and Discord for future releases.

C. Game Updates and Patch Announcements

Whenever the game adds a major Act, new equipment system, PvP feature, or progression overhaul, check for a code.

ACT3ISHERE is literally named after the content update.

OBSIDIANACT2 follows the same pattern.

A future Act IV launch is exactly the kind of moment where I would expect another promotional string.

D. Community Events and Milestones

10KMEMBERS proves that community size can trigger a reward.

SUMMER26 proves seasonal codes are also possible.

TPY500 proves compensation can arrive as a code rather than direct mail.

So even a “boring” developer post can be worth checking. Codes are not only attached to traditional festivals.

VIII. Obsidian Knight RPG Event and Update Codes

A. Major Update Codes

The clearest examples are:

OBSIDIANACT2

ACT3ISHERE

Both reinforce the pattern of major story updates receiving free community rewards.

The Act III release was particularly large, adding story content, set upgrading, cosmetics/customization, higher player levels, and additional weapons.

For future content, watch update notes on release week.

B. Anniversary and Milestone Codes

10KMEMBERS is the best documented community milestone code.

If the Discord or game population hits another major threshold, there is a reasonable chance the developers celebrate again.

That is not a guarantee—but it is a much better place to watch than random coupon aggregators.

C. Seasonal Event Codes

SUMMER26 is the current example.

Seasonal codes are the ones I would redeem fastest because the name itself suggests they are not meant to last forever.

Even though SUMMER26 remains active on August 9, I would not assume it survives into winter.

D. Community Celebration Rewards

Community celebration codes often provide smaller bundles than major story codes, but they are still valuable because redemption takes about thirty seconds.

When 10KMEMBERS went live, players clarified that its Orb reward was 50, not 500. That may sound modest, but fifty free permanent-upgrade currency is still worth claiming.

IX. Best Ways to Use Code Rewards

A. Spending Gold Efficiently

Early on, buy obvious upgrades when you are genuinely struggling.

Later, stop wasting Gold on tiny stat jumps.

Community progression advice generally suggests buying normal equipment only as needed and eventually saving for the powerful set armory and higher shop tiers. PvP also becomes one of the best repeatable ways to farm additional Gold.

My rule is simple:

If a purchase does not help me clear a stage I am currently stuck on, I ask whether I would rather save that Gold for set equipment.

Usually, the answer is yes.

B. Using Obsidian Orbs

Spend Orbs on your skill cards first.

This is probably the most important resource tip in the article.

Upgraded cards become stronger, and improving the entire pool can unlock additional rerolls. More rerolls mean you can reject dead skills and chase combinations that actually work.

Fortifications matter, but they are much more random.

Card upgrades give you a predictable improvement every time.

C. Prioritizing Equipment Upgrades

My general order is:

  1. Strong weapon

  2. Complete armor set

  3. Useful rings and amulet

  4. Permanent utility upgrades

  5. Fortification optimization

Do not buy a visually exciting sword that destroys your hit reliability.

Late-game players often favor weapons with strong critical chance, critical-damage multipliers, and major miss-chance reduction.

Consistency matters more than a slightly higher theoretical maximum hit.

D. Saving Premium Resources

Rubies should not be treated like ordinary Gold.

Community players strongly recommend using Rubies on permanent benefits such as auto-potion, equipment/fortification utility, or Orb conversion rather than throwing them into random chests.

The repeated community advice can basically be summarized as:

Do not waste Rubies on chests.

I agree.

X. Obsidian Knight RPG Beginner Guide

A. First Progression Priorities

When I start a fresh account, my priorities are:

Push the story.

Buy only meaningful gear upgrades.

Develop skill cards.

Play PvP even before you consider yourself a PvP player.

Collect Gold and Rubies without spending them impulsively.

The game does not use an energy system in the traditional sense, so you can keep attempting stages and experimenting with skill combinations without waiting for stamina to regenerate. The official App Store description and player reviews highlight the run-based progression and randomized skill choices as the core loop.

B. Choosing Early Skills

In normal difficulty, damage skills feel amazing because enemies do not punish mistakes as heavily.

I still start building good habits early.

I prefer effects involving:

  • critical chance;

  • critical damage;

  • stun;

  • dodge;

  • healing on critical hits;

  • armor recovery;

  • execute;

  • chained AoE/explosions.

Why?

Because those same archetypes stay useful later.

A skill that gives 10% more basic damage might help now.

A skill that turns every critical into healing can become the core of a Nightmare build.

C. Managing Gold and Equipment

Do not panic-buy.

The store keeps improving as your account progresses, and Act III introduced additional high shop tiers and new weapon options. Players around the Act III rollout specifically noted that saving Gold for later shop levels paid off when stronger weapons became available.

Buy enough to progress.

Save the rest.

D. Common Beginner Mistakes

The mistakes I see most often are:

Buying too many temporary items.

Spending Rubies on chests.

Ignoring PvP because “I only play PvE.”

Spreading Orbs into random systems before leveling skill cards.

Choosing every damage skill while having zero sustain.

Assuming Gold rarity automatically means the equipment roll is good.

And my personal favorite: completing a strong skill synergy, then replacing one piece of it with a flashy new card that breaks the entire engine.

XI. Obsidian Knight RPG Best Skill Builds

A. High-Damage Build

A pure high-damage build works best in Normal or easier farming stages where enemies die before they can exploit your low sustain.

I prioritize:

  • raw damage multipliers;

  • attacks that hit additional targets;

  • back-row damage;

  • explosion effects;

  • execute effects;

  • critical chance;

  • critical damage.

Explosion and execute mechanics are especially valuable in Nightmare because enemy health can become too large to simply trade ordinary attacks fairly. Experienced Nightmare players often rank explosion and execution above straightforward damage scaling.

When one kill triggers damage across the entire formation, the build stops behaving like normal single-target combat.

B. Critical Hit Build

Critical builds are my favorite because they can bridge offense and defense.

The basic engine is:

high Crit Chance → Crit Damage → healing or armor effect triggered by criticals

A particularly strong run can combine a guaranteed critical first hit with a “critical hits restore HP” effect. Community players report these combinations as highly effective on harder difficulties.

If your weapon also carries meaningful critical stats, the whole build becomes much more consistent.

C. Tank and Survivability Build

Nightmare teaches this lesson brutally: if enemies can deal 70–100 damage in one hit, dealing 10% more damage is not your biggest problem.

I want:

  • dodge;

  • stun on dodge;

  • stun on critical;

  • armor restoration;

  • HP restoration;

  • max HP;

  • potion improvements;

  • damage mitigation.

The goal is to prevent enemy actions or recover between them.

Community Nightmare advice consistently emphasizes mitigation, healing, stuns, and repeated resets until the skill draw forms a coherent build.

D. Crowd-Control Build

Stun is one of the strongest defensive mechanics because a stunned enemy deals zero damage.

The classic synergy is:

high Crit Chance + stun on Crit

Then add:

dodge + stun on Dodge

Now two separate defensive/offensive triggers can stop enemy turns.

Players who completed difficult Nightmare stretches commonly mention stun-heavy setups because the difficulty is less forgiving of direct damage trading.

XII. Obsidian Knight RPG Skill Synergy Guide

A. Combining Offensive Skills

Do not choose offensive cards individually.

Choose chains.

If a skill damages the back row, ask what happens when a back-row enemy is hit.

If another skill makes archers attack multiple targets after a back-row trigger, that interaction may be more powerful than another generic damage card.

One community example described combining bonus back-row damage, an archer-wide attack effect, and a final damage-to-all-enemies trigger until the player was essentially walking through a chain reaction of kills.

That is what you should be looking for: not “good card,” but “good engine.”

B. Healing and Armor Recovery

Healing is strongest when tied to something you already do constantly.

Critical-hit healing works because a good build is already chasing criticals.

Kill healing works because progression requires killing enemies.

Armor restoration can keep HP protected instead of waiting until you are nearly dead.

Potion recovery effects become much more valuable when paired with cards that increase potion strength or refill potions during long stages.

One isolated healing card is fine.

Three cards interacting with the same healing condition can make you almost impossible to grind down.

C. Critical Chance and Critical Damage Synergy

Critical Damage does nothing if you rarely crit.

Critical Chance is therefore the foundation.

I would rather have reliable 7%+ weapon Crit Chance and decent Crit Damage than enormous Crit Damage attached to a weapon that almost never triggers it.

Community endgame weapon recommendations frequently mention high Crit Chance, Crit Damage, and very large miss-chance reduction as the ideal combination.

Once the critical engine is reliable, then add Crit-triggered healing or stun.

D. Building Around Long Runs

Long runs need something that restores resources.

Maybe that is HP.

Maybe it is armor.

Maybe it is potions.

Maybe Rage-related kill bonuses trigger multiple effects.

Community testing suggests Rage multipliers can interact with several kill rewards at once, making Rage cards useful even when raw XP is no longer your primary concern.

A build that survives ten enemies is not automatically a build that survives fifty.

XIII. Obsidian Knight RPG Equipment Guide

A. Best Weapons

My ideal late-game weapon has three characteristics:

high hit reliability

high Crit Chance

useful Crit Damage

A slightly weaker damage range is acceptable if the weapon almost never misses and keeps activating your Crit-based skills.

Veteran players have reported weapons around the 7.5% Crit Chance range as particularly desirable, especially when combined with Crit Damage and large miss-chance reduction.

Do not judge a sword only by the two damage numbers at the top.

B. Armor and Defensive Gear

Armor sets are the main long-term goal.

The three familiar earnable set identities are:

Stellar – additional melee dodge

Delirium – additional ranged dodge

Monocrat – additional EXP

Community comparisons consistently describe the shared pieces as broadly similar, with the chest piece providing the main set-specific distinction.

For Nightmare, I lean Stellar because melee enemies are extremely common and dodge directly prevents devastating hits.

C. Rings and Equipment Slots

Early on, Gold and XP bonuses are useful on jewelry.

Once you have essentially finished normal leveling and equipment purchasing, Max HP becomes more attractive because Gold and XP gradually lose value.

Players commonly recommend moving toward HP-focused rings and amulets in endgame setups.

Act III's extended progression makes XP relevant longer than it was originally, so do not switch too early.

D. Which Gear Stats to Prioritize

My practical order is:

Hit reliability / miss reduction

Crit Chance

Dodge

Max HP

Crit Damage

Gold or XP bonuses while still progressing

The exact order changes with difficulty.

On normal stages, extra Gold can be great.

On Nightmare, survival wins.

XIV. Obsidian Knight RPG Armor Set Guide

A. Early-Game Sets

Before set armor becomes practical, use whatever provides a meaningful upgrade.

Do not spend huge amounts replacing a good item for one extra armor point.

Set armor is a later shop objective, and experienced players specifically advise beginners not to worry about it before the Set Armory becomes relevant.

B. Mid-Game Equipment

During mid-game I begin saving intentionally.

If I am not stuck, I stop buying expensive temporary Legendaries.

Players often recommend saving instead of repeatedly purchasing high-cost interim gear because those items are eventually replaced by set equipment.

The weapon is the one place where I am more willing to spend because a strong roll can stay useful much longer.

C. Legendary Armor Sets

Stellar

My general endgame favorite.

Its key identity is improved melee dodge, and many players consider it the safest overall set because melee enemies are so common.

Delirium

Delirium gives ranged dodge.

I swap to it when a stage is dominated by archers or other ranged threats.

There are Nightmare players who keep access to both Stellar and Delirium so they can adapt to the stage rather than insisting one set is always best.

Monocrat

Monocrat's main specialty is extra EXP.

It is fantastic while leveling, but once your account has finished the progression that XP supports, the defensive sets become more attractive.

D. Endgame Set Bonuses

Act III expanded armor-set progression through set upgrades, cosmetics, and customization.

This makes completing a strong set even more worthwhile because the equipment is no longer just a temporary milestone.

There is also a The Seven set associated with paid/store availability and boss-themed pieces. Community reports indicate it shares a lot of statistical structure with the other sets, and players have debated how its chest/set identity compares.

For a normal F2P route, Stellar remains my practical recommendation.

XV. Obsidian Knight RPG Upgrade Priority

A. Skill Tree Priorities

Upgrade anything that provides permanent combat consistency before minor quality-of-life bonuses.

Look for routes that strengthen:

  • damage;

  • criticals;

  • Gold acquisition;

  • potion capacity;

  • survivability;

  • equipment access.

There is no need to buy every node just because it is available.

Follow the path toward the upgrades your current bottleneck actually needs.

B. Equipment Slot Unlocks

Permanent slots are generally better Ruby investments than gambling.

Players recommend using Rubies for persistent account upgrades such as fortification/item utility and auto-potion systems rather than opening random chests.

One permanent slot benefits every future run.

One random chest can give you junk.

Easy decision.

C. Damage and Gold Upgrades

Early:

prioritize enough damage to keep progressing.

Mid-game:

start investing in Gold bonuses because the armor-set grind is expensive.

Late game:

once Gold stops being your main bottleneck, switch those choices toward survival and high-end combat.

Gold-farming players specifically recommend equipment with Gold bonuses, talent-tree Gold upgrades, bounty/loot improvements, and choosing the money option at camps.

D. Potion and Utility Upgrades

The auto-potion permanent upgrade is one of the best quality-of-life purchases.

Potions also become part of real Nightmare builds once cards start improving potion damage, healing, or refill behavior.

Do not dismiss them as “beginner healing.”

A long stage can be won or lost because you reached the final wave with one more potion available.

XVI. Obsidian Knight RPG Gold and Orb Farming

A. Best Gold Farming Methods

PvP is the best repeatable Gold farm I have found consistently recommended by experienced players.

Players who reach the point where they can clear PvP efficiently repeatedly point newcomers toward PvP for Gold.

You also receive seasonal PvP chest rewards based on league progression, giving competitive play long-term value beyond individual runs.

Even if you prefer PvE, do not ignore PvP.

B. Increasing Gold Bonuses

For dedicated Gold farming:

equip Gold percentage gear.

take Gold-related talent nodes.

increase bounty and Gold monster frequency.

take Gold camp options.

improve loot quantity.

A player specifically outlining Gold farming recommends exactly this multi-layer approach rather than depending on one isolated bonus.

The key is stacking several sources around a run you can already clear comfortably.

C. Earning More Obsidian Orbs

Orbs come through multiple progression systems, including PvP, dungeons, codes, and high-level repeatable XP milestones.

Max-level players have reported earning additional daily Orbs by grinding a large amount of XP after reaching level cap.

This means EXP can continue having value even when normal leveling appears finished.

D. Combining Codes With Regular Farming

Think of codes as acceleration, not replacement.

Redeem DUNGEON2025 for the 120 Orbs.

Take 10KMEMBERS if your account can still use it.

Then use those Orbs to strengthen cards.

After that, farm PvP and dungeons to keep the progression moving.

The code gives you the head start.

Your daily play turns that head start into a finished build.

XVII. Obsidian Knight RPG PvP Guide

A. Best PvP Skill Combinations

PvP rewards burst and denial.

I like:

  • Crit Chance;

  • Crit Damage;

  • stun on Crit;

  • opening-hit Crit;

  • dodge;

  • execute;

  • armor damage.

You usually do not have the luxury of waiting twenty encounters for a healing engine to become unstoppable.

You need immediate impact.

B. Critical and Burst Damage Builds

A good PvP weapon with high Crit Chance is valuable because one early critical can decide the fight.

Pair:

first attack always Crit

with:

higher Crit Damage

then add:

stun or secondary effect on Crit

Now the opening attack deals extra damage and potentially prevents retaliation.

That is much stronger than a slow PvE economy build.

C. Survivability Strategies

PvP survival is mostly about preventing incoming damage rather than healing through endless hits.

Dodge remains strong.

Stun remains strong.

Armor helps.

Max HP gives you a larger safety margin.

Do not sacrifice all of them just to add another tiny damage increase.

D. PvP Rewards and Progression

PvP is important for two reasons.

It is competitive content, but it is also a progression engine.

Season rewards can provide Gold and Rubies, while individual PvP runs are one of the most commonly recommended Gold-farming methods.

The TPY500 compensation code also shows how important league progression has become to the overall game economy.

XVIII. Obsidian Knight RPG Late-Game and Nightmare Guide

A. Preparing for Harder Difficulty

Do not enter Nightmare expecting your Normal build to work.

Normal rewards damage.

Nightmare rewards control, execution, healing, armor management, dodge, and favorable RNG.

Players consistently describe Nightmare as being heavily dependent on the right skill combinations because enemies can deal massive damage relative to the player's HP.

Before pushing seriously, I want:

a good armor set.

a high-quality weapon.

upgraded skill cards.

multiple rerolls.

permanent utility upgrades.

a healthy supply of patience.

B. Best Endgame Builds

My rough Nightmare hierarchy is:

1. Explosion Chain

Kill one enemy.

Trigger damage on others.

Turn the first kill into a cascade.

2. Execute

Once enemies drop below a threshold, remove them without trading more attacks.

3. Stun + Damage

Prevent actions while Crit or other offensive triggers deal damage.

4. Healing/Armor Sustain

If the run cannot delete enemies quickly, outlast them.

This ordering closely matches experienced Nightmare community recommendations, which frequently place Explode and Execute above straightforward damage, with stun and healing supporting the build.

C. Gear Requirements

You do not need one mathematically perfect loadout, but you do need good equipment.

Stellar is the safest set for general Nightmare progression.

Delirium is useful when ranged damage dominates the stage.

A high-Crit weapon with major miss reduction keeps offensive triggers reliable.

HP jewelry provides a bigger survival cushion.

Some players report requiring extremely strong weapons and full sets before the final Nightmare sections became manageable.

Gear alone will not carry a bad skill roll, but weak gear makes good RNG much harder to capitalize on.

D. Act and Boss Progression

The current game has expanded through Act III.

Act III was added in the major 2026 update alongside higher player levels, upgraded equipment systems, and customization.

Difficulty progression requires completing the story appropriately. Community reports indicate players need to finish all available Acts on a difficulty before the next difficulty becomes fully accessible—for example, completing Acts before entering Fever Dream and then progressing through Fever Dream before Nightmare content opens correctly.

Bosses are where your build gets tested hardest.

If normal enemies barely touch you but a boss destroys your armor instantly, stop choosing additional AoE cards and add:

single-target damage.

Crit.

stun.

armor recovery.

potion effects.

Max HP.

A farming build and a boss build should not look identical.

XIX. Frequently Asked Questions About Obsidian Knight RPG Codes

A. Are Obsidian Knight RPG Codes Free?

Yes.

Official Obsidian Knight RPG codes are free promotional rewards.

You should never pay somebody for SUMMER26, ACT3ISHERE, DUNGEON2025, or another public code.

If somebody asks for your account login in exchange for a “private developer code,” ignore them.

B. How Often Are New Codes Released?

There is no fixed weekly schedule.

Codes tend to appear around:

  • major Acts;

  • community milestones;

  • seasonal events;

  • compensation;

  • significant updates.

The current code history supports that pattern: OBSIDIANACT2, ACT3ISHERE, 10KMEMBERS, TPY500, and SUMMER26 all have clearly different reasons for existing.

I check after every major patch.

C. Can Codes Be Redeemed More Than Once?

Normally, no.

Treat every promotional code as one redemption per eligible account.

If a code says it has already been used, you probably redeemed it earlier.

Restarting a run or changing Acts will not make it available again.

D. Where Can Players Find the Latest Working Codes?

My preferred order is:

Official Discord

ActFirst Games Facebook/X

Obsidian Knight Reddit community

Recently updated code trackers

The key word there is recently.

On August 10, 2026, the most recent August 9 check still lists SUMMER26, TPY500, ACT3ISHERE, 10KMEMBERS, OBSIDIANACT2, and DUNGEON2025.

If you find another page updated six months ago saying CHALLENGES26 is the newest code, use the August list instead.

Conclusion: Getting the Most From Obsidian Knight RPG Codes

The current Obsidian Knight RPG codes are easy to redeem, but the real value comes from what you do afterward.

As of August 10, 2026, I would test these six first:

SUMMER26

TPY500

ACT3ISHERE

10KMEMBERS

OBSIDIANACT2

DUNGEON2025

DUNGEON2025 remains the easiest reward to quantify because it gives 1,000 Gold and 120 Obsidian Orbs. TPY500 was released as compensation for PvP progression issues and provides 500 PvP trophies/points. 10KMEMBERS was reported with 50 Obsidian Orbs. SUMMER26, ACT3ISHERE, and OBSIDIANACT2 remain better described as free promotional bundles unless the game itself shows you a more specific reward breakdown.

Once those rewards are in your account, I would not immediately run to the shop.

Use Orbs on your skill cards.

That is the upgrade I keep coming back to because cards affect the strategic part of every run. Higher-level cards are stronger, and improving the full card collection can provide more rerolls. When Nightmare begins handing you combinations that feel impossible, having another chance to reject a useless card is worth far more than it sounded during Normal difficulty.

Gold requires more patience.

Buy enough equipment to avoid getting completely stuck, but do not spend 20,000 or 50,000 Gold every time the shop shows a marginal improvement. Eventually you are going to want serious weapons and full armor sets.

For most players, Stellar is my default long-term armor recommendation because its distinguishing bonus is melee dodge. Delirium specializes in ranged dodge, while Monocrat focuses more heavily on EXP. The sets share a lot of their basic statistical structure, which means the chest/set-specific bonus is the biggest strategic difference between them.

For weapons, I care less about the color of the item and more about the roll.

I want high Crit Chance.

I want Crit Damage.

I want strong hit reliability.

A weapon that theoretically deals enormous damage but constantly misses is not a good endgame weapon.

That becomes even more important when your skill build uses “critical hits heal,” “critical hits stun,” or other Crit-triggered effects. One extra point of basic damage cannot compete with consistently activating an entire synergy engine.

And that is really what Obsidian Knight is about once you get past the surface.

It is not an idle game where your only decision is increasing one giant Power number.

Your knight may attack automatically, but you are building the machine behind those attacks.

A good critical build might use a guaranteed first-hit Crit, increased Crit Damage, healing on Crit, and stun on Crit.

A Nightmare sustain build might combine dodge, stun on Dodge, armor recovery, max HP, and potion regeneration.

An AoE build might turn one back-row hit into an attack on several enemies, then use an explosion or global-damage trigger to start a chain reaction.

A boss build may throw most of that away and focus on single-target Crit, stun, armor restoration, and consistent potion usage.

The same player can therefore fail one stage ten times and suddenly destroy it on attempt eleven without changing equipment at all.

The difference is the skill draw.

This is why the advice “just stack damage” stops working.

In Nightmare, you usually cannot out-trade the enemy honestly. Community players describe enemies hitting for huge chunks of the total health pool, making defensive synergy and denial extremely important. Explosion, Execute, stun, dodge, healing, and armor restoration become much more attractive than another ordinary +damage card.

The Act III expansion makes long-term progression more interesting as well. The update added the third Act, higher levels, set upgrades, cosmetics/customization, and broader weapon progression.

That gives Gold and EXP more life than they had when the game contained less content.

It also means old guides need to be read carefully. Advice written when only Act I existed may still have good ideas about Crit and dodge, but the progression route and equipment economy have changed.

For free-to-play players, I would follow a pretty simple resource plan.

First, redeem every active code.

Second, spend your Obsidian Orbs on cards.

Third, keep enough Gold to buy a weapon that meaningfully improves your build.

Fourth, save toward a complete armor set instead of endlessly replacing temporary gear.

Fifth, play PvP.

Even if you do not care about leaderboard bragging rights, PvP is a major Gold source and gives seasonal progression rewards. That makes it part of the PvE economy whether you like competitive play or not.

Sixth, save Rubies for permanent value.

Auto-potion, permanent slots, useful unlocks, and Orb conversion make sense.

Random chests usually do not.

The Obsidian Knight community repeats that advice so often because wasting Rubies feels especially painful after you realize how many permanent systems need them.

When you finally reach Nightmare, stop judging failed attempts too harshly.

Sometimes you genuinely drew the wrong skills.

If the first few choices give you no defensive synergy, no Crit engine, and no way to prevent the huge enemy attacks that are coming later, restarting can be more efficient than dragging a dead build through another ten minutes.

Use rerolls aggressively.

Know what combination you are looking for before the stage starts.

Do not pick every individually “good” card.

Pick cards that make your existing cards better.

That one habit improved my runs more than any individual item.

So while this guide starts with Obsidian Knight RPG codes, the codes themselves are only the first step.

Redeem SUMMER26 before it disappears.

Use DUNGEON2025 for the guaranteed Gold and Orbs.

Try the milestone and Act codes while they remain accepted.

Then convert those free resources into something permanent: stronger cards, better equipment, more reliable criticals, a complete armor set, and the kind of skill pool that gives you a fighting chance when Nightmare decides to stop playing fair.

Free currency gets you through the door.

A well-planned build is what gets the Obsidian Knight through the next Act.
