Girls Frontline 2 Tier List (September 2026): Best Dolls, Teams, Reroll Picks, and Meta Guide

Building a strong squad in Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium has become much more complicated than simply putting five high-rarity Dolls together. Once you reach harder event stages, Gunsmoke Frontline, Platoon content, Phase Clash, and boss fights, Phase synergy, Stability damage, positioning, support attacks, tile effects, and Fortification breakpoints start mattering just as much as raw stats.

This girls frontline 2 tier list is based on the Global September 2026 environment. Instead of ranking every Doll only by theoretical personal damage, I’m looking at how useful they actually feel when building real teams: how much investment they need, which Phase they support, whether they remain useful in endgame, and how difficult they are to replace.

There have also been several major changes recently. Resonance has joined the Phase system, Nemesis: Gnosis has introduced the first Doll MOD path, and Chiral Redundancy has replaced Moonshroud Requiem as the current major update. Because of that, some older rankings are already outdated.

I. Introduction to Girls' Frontline 2 Tier List

A. What is Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium and why tier lists matter

Girls' Frontline 2: Exilium is a tactical turn-based RPG where Dolls move across grid-based maps, use cover, exploit enemy weaknesses, break Stability, trigger support attacks, manipulate Phase tiles, and combine their kits into coordinated rotations.

That last part is why a tier list matters. A Doll can look mediocre in isolation but become ridiculous inside the right Phase team. Vector is a perfect example: judging her as a random damage dealer misses how important she becomes when Burn mechanics and Qiongjiu-style support attacks start interacting.

Upgrade resources also become expensive. Combat Reports, Analysis Blueprints, Neural Helix materials, attachment resources, Remolding Pattern materials, Fortification copies, and signature weapons all compete for your account resources. Investing in the right core first makes progression dramatically easier.

B. How this tier list is updated – September 2026 meta

This ranking reflects the Global environment around September 2026 and weighs campaign performance, bossing, Gunsmoke Frontline, Platoon content, Phase synergy, V0 performance, higher Fortification value, and long-term team usefulness.

The current meta increasingly favors complete Phase teams instead of five individually powerful Dolls.

C. Who should use this guide

New players can use it to decide which Dolls deserve early resources. Rerollers can identify valuable standard starters without wasting hours resetting accounts. Veterans can use the Phase sections to decide where their roster still has weaknesses.

II. Girls' Frontline 2 Tier List Overview – September 2026

A. S-Tier: Best-of-the-best Dolls

My current top group includes Klukai, Qiongjiu, Suomi, Voymastina, Leva, Springfield, Vector, and Makiatto, with several specialists such as Alva, Lewis, Robella, Sextans, and Basti capable of reaching S-tier value inside their preferred teams.

Klukai remains the defining Corrosion carry. Suomi is still one of the safest support investments. Voymastina dominates Physical-focused content, while Leva gives Electric teams huge offensive pressure.

Tololo remains excellent, especially for newer accounts, although the expanding Hydro roster means I now consider her closer to high A/S depending on content rather than automatically putting her above every newer limited attacker.

B. A-Tier: Strong picks with niche value

Tololo, Basti, Daiyan, Sabrina, Jiangyu, Lenna, Andoris, Sharkry, Qiuhua, Lind, Phaetusa, Loreley, Liushih, and OTs-14 belong around this area for general account value.

Many of these can perform like S-tier Dolls when you build specifically around them.

C. B-Tier: Situational or lower-priority units

Cheeta, Mosin-Nagant, Belka, Colphne, standard Nemesis, Groza, and several older or highly specialized Dolls remain usable but are usually not where I would spend my first premium resources.

That doesn't make them worthless. GFL2 rewards mechanics heavily enough that even a B-tier Doll can solve a specific map.

D. C/D-Tier: Characters to avoid or replace

Peritya, Ullrid, Krolik, Littara, Nagant, Vepley, and other early filler Dolls tend to have lower investment priority in the current environment.

Some have legitimate niches, but if you are choosing between finishing Klukai's build and heavily developing an outdated filler DPS, the decision is pretty easy.

III. Top S-Tier Characters Ranked

A. Qiongjiu – Best overall DPS with Steady Plan passive

Qiongjiu remains one of the best standard-pool results you can get. Steady Plan lets her perform Support Actions when allies attack valid targets, so she can contribute far more damage than her own turn suggests.

Once Burn support becomes available, she gets even better. Her ability to punish enemies repeatedly makes her especially strong in boss fights where multiple allied attacks can trigger her passive.

B. Klukai – Corrosion hypercarry and tile control

If somebody asks me which character defines Corrosion, my answer is still Klukai.

She combines excellent AoE pressure, Corrosion damage, debuffing, and stack-based mechanics with enough raw power to trivialize many wave-based encounters. More importantly, she is not just an early-game farmer. Properly supported, Klukai stays relevant deep into endgame.

C. Suomi – Top-tier support and flex buffer

Suomi is one of those characters that makes an account immediately more comfortable. Shields, healing, cleansing, defensive utility, and Freeze synergy let her protect teams that would otherwise fall apart.

She is especially nice for newer players because you do not need perfect tactical execution to feel her impact.

D. Tololo – Hydro single-target specialist

Tololo's biggest strength is Extra Actions. A properly prepared Tololo can move, attack repeatedly, and tear into a priority target before many other DPS Dolls have finished setting themselves up.

She is no longer unquestionably the strongest Hydro character in every scenario, but as a standard-pool carry she remains fantastic.

E. Voymastina – Physical hypercarry dominance

Voymastina has become one of the signature Physical damage dealers of the 2026 Global meta. Her mobility, offensive pressure, and high damage ceiling make her especially attractive for accounts that want a dedicated Physical team.

Unlike some hypercarries that feel awful without several copies, she already offers meaningful value before maximum Fortification.

F. Leva – Electric AoE burst dealer

Leva is an Electric Sentinel built around Negative Charge, Voltage tiles, AoE damage, and follow-up pressure.

Her value climbs rapidly once an Electric team starts supporting her properly. Set up the Phase mechanics first, then let Leva capitalize on them instead of treating her like a generic AoE attacker.

G. Makiatto – Freeze AoE and boss killer

One correction is important here: Makiatto is primarily famous for single-target Freeze damage, not conventional AoE clearing.

Her long sniper range, Freeze interactions, Interception mechanics, and excellent boss damage keep her near the top of the Freeze roster. If the stage asks you to delete one dangerous enemy rather than clear eight weak mobs, Makiatto is exactly the type of Doll I want.

H. Vector – Burn engine and Qiongjiu synergy

Vector is both a strong offensive unit and one of the pieces that makes modern Burn teams work.

Her Burn application and team interactions combine extremely well with Qiongjiu's repeated support attacks. Once the engine starts rolling, the amount of damage generated outside your normal turn becomes pretty silly.

IV. Best Corrosion Phase Characters

A. Klukai – Primary Corrosion DPS

Klukai is still the first name I would build around. She offers the mixture of AoE, debuffs, Phase damage, and scaling that Corrosion wants.

B. Basti – Summoner and tile controller

Basti is much more than a healer. She can summon Cuties, manipulate Corrosion tiles, reposition teammates, restore HP and Stability, cleanse debuffs, and contribute AoE Corrosion effects.

That utility makes her extremely valuable in complicated maps.

C. Nemesis – Backline damage and debuffs

Standard Nemesis is an accessible Corrosion sniper, but September 2026 changes the discussion because Nemesis: Gnosis is now available through the new MOD system.

If you are investing heavily in Nemesis, Gnosis is the form that matters for long-term planning.

D. Lind – Corrosion AoE specialist

Lind gives Corrosion teams another strong offensive option and performs particularly well when enemy formations favor her attack patterns.

E. Mechty – Support bulwark utility

Mechty is useful when your Corrosion composition needs survivability and utility rather than another pure attacker. She is not usually the first Doll I would chase, but she can fill awkward defensive gaps.

F. Daiyan – Physical vanguard with Corrosion synergy

Daiyan is primarily a Physical Vanguard rather than a dedicated Corrosion unit. She can fit flexible compositions because of mobility and utility, but don't build her expecting her to replace Klukai or Basti in a true Corrosion core.

V. Best Electric Phase Characters

A. Leva – Electric AoE burst

Leva is the centerpiece for many Electric damage setups. Her Voltage interactions and wide-area attacks make her equally comfortable damaging groups and contributing against large targets.

B. Sextans – Electric amplifier and support

Sextans is an Electric Support with melee attacks, buffs, healing, movement, tile creation, and offensive utility.

She does more than stand in the back and press a buff button, which makes her fun to use if you enjoy active support characters.

C. Jiangyu – Stability shredder

Jiangyu performs especially well when you want aggressive Stability pressure and melee Electric damage. Breaking Stability sooner means your real damage window starts sooner.

D. Andoris – Buff/debuff utility core

Andoris provides the kind of support that becomes increasingly valuable as enemy difficulty rises. She isn't always flashy, but coordinated Electric teams appreciate reliable setup.

E. Lenna – Electric debuffer and setup

Lenna contributes Electric damage and useful debuffs while helping other Electric attackers reach their peak.

A Leva team becomes much scarier when the other four slots actually improve Leva instead of simply adding random high-tier Dolls.

VI. Best Freeze Phase Characters

A. Makiatto – Freeze AoE specialist

Again, think single-target sniper rather than pure AoE specialist. Makiatto's strength comes from powerful Freeze shots, long-range pressure, and boss killing.

B. Alva – Freeze shield and bulwark

Alva gives Freeze teams shields and powerful defensive interactions while still contributing useful damage.

She is particularly strong when content punishes fragile glass-cannon setups.

C. Lotta – Freeze shotgun AoE

Lotta remains one of the nicer lower-rarity Freeze options. Her shotgun coverage makes her good for clearing clustered enemies without requiring an expensive limited roster.

D. Robella – Freeze AoE burst

Robella offers strong Freeze-oriented offensive pressure and can contribute significant damage when her setup gets rolling.

E. Eagletta – Freeze/Burn dual-attribute

This label is outdated. Eagletta should not be treated as the game's Freeze/Burn dual-attribute centerpiece.

That distinction belongs to Soppo, who is scheduled to arrive in Chiral Redundancy Part 2. Eagletta still has her own value, but don't build an account around an incorrect dual-Phase description.

F. Dushevnaya – Freeze buffer support

Dushevnaya remains useful for strengthening Freeze damage and applying helpful debuffs. She has been power-crept in some premium compositions, but she's still perfectly functional when your roster lacks newer supports.

VII. Best Hydro Phase Characters

A. Tololo – Hydro single-target DPS

Tololo remains one of the cleanest Hydro attackers to understand. Generate and manage Confectance Index properly, trigger Extra Actions, and focus down priority targets.

B. Springfield – Hydro healer and support

Springfield is arguably more important to modern Hydro teams than yet another attacker. She combines healing, Stability recovery, summons, and offensive support into one very complete kit.

C. Sabrina – Hydro tank and stability

Sabrina remains a reliable defensive option with strong Stability-related utility. She may not produce highlight-reel damage, but she keeps difficult maps under control.

D. Liushih – Hydro summoner

Liushih adds summon-based Hydro pressure and gives the Phase another way to generate damage instead of relying entirely on Tololo.

E. Colphne – Hydro healer utility

Colphne remains a serviceable early healer, but Springfield has heavily reduced her long-term priority.

Use Colphne while she solves a problem. You don't need to over-invest once stronger support arrives.

F. Zhaohui – Hydro vanguard

Zhaohui provides mobility and Hydro offense but generally falls below the premium Hydro core in investment priority.

VIII. Best Burn Phase Characters

A. Vector – Burn engine and support

Vector is one of the most valuable Burn pieces because she helps create the conditions that allow the rest of the team to explode.

B. Sharkry – Burn single-target specialist

Sharkry is still a very respectable budget Burn attacker. If you do not own every limited Burn Doll, she can carry much more weight than her rarity suggests.

C. Sakura – Burn vanguard

Sakura brings aggressive Burn pressure and works well in compositions built around keeping Burn effects active.

D. Lewis – Burn sentinel

Lewis has enough damage to compete with premium carries and becomes especially impressive when the encounter fits her kit.

E. Loreley – Burn support utility

Loreley brings Burn tiles, AoE pressure, summons, and utility. She is one of those characters whose value rises as you learn how to manipulate battlefield tiles rather than simply attacking the closest enemy.

F. Krolik – Burn vanguard filler

Krolik works during early progression but is one of the easiest Burn characters to replace.

Don't pour premium resources into her just because the game gives her to you early.

IX. Best Physical Phase Characters

A. Voymastina – Physical hypercarry

Voymastina is my first recommendation for serious Physical investment. She combines excellent offensive pressure with enough flexibility to justify building an entire team around her.

B. Cheyanne – Infinite range physical DPS

Cheyanne's ability to threaten enemies across huge distances gives her a completely different tactical identity from normal DPS.

Maps where positioning usually protects distant enemies suddenly become much easier.

C. Groza – Physical tank and bulwark

Groza remains useful during progression thanks to survivability and straightforward gameplay, but newer defensive options have lowered her endgame ranking.

D. Papasha – Physical sentinel

Papasha can contribute respectable Physical damage but usually struggles to compete with premium Physical carries for resources.

E. Yoohee – Physical buffer

Yoohee gains value when she is supporting a properly developed Physical core rather than being judged by personal damage.

F. Littara – Physical AoE specialist

Littara can handle grouped enemies, but she generally sits near the bottom of current investment priorities unless a stage strongly favors her pattern.

X. Team Composition Fundamentals

A. Phase-based team building explained

The easiest way to improve your teams is to stop thinking in terms of five individual tier rankings.

Pick a main Phase. Choose a carry. Add characters who apply that Phase's debuffs, tiles, buffs, Stability pressure, or support attacks. Then use the remaining slots to solve survivability or map-specific problems.

B. Never mix five phases in one team

You technically can, especially because universal utility and the new Resonance mechanic complicate traditional Phase rules.

But throwing five unrelated Phase characters together normally produces far less damage than a coordinated composition.

C. Ideal team structure: 1 DPS + 2 Supports + 2 Flex

One main carry, two enablers, and two flexible slots is a good starting template.

The flex positions can become a second DPS, Bulwark, healer, Stability breaker, summoner, or specialized debuffer.

D. Sample beginner Corrosion team

Klukai / Basti / Suomi / Nemesis: Gnosis / Flex is much closer to a modern Corrosion core than randomly combining five high-tier characters.

If you don't have Gnosis yet, standard Nemesis or another useful Corrosion piece can temporarily fill the slot.

E. Sample beginner Hydro team

The originally suggested Tololo / Springfield / Sabrina / Vector / Leva lineup works as a mixed general team, but it is not actually a focused Hydro composition.

For proper Hydro synergy, start with Tololo / Springfield / Sabrina, then add Liushih, Zhaohui, or another utility Doll appropriate to the stage.

XI. Gunsmoke Frontline and Event Stage Teams

A. Best teams for Gunsmoke Frontline

Gunsmoke rewards roster depth. Rather than copying one universal squad, build around the current enemy weaknesses and scoring conditions.

Strong Phase cores such as Klukai Corrosion, Leva Electric, Makiatto Freeze, Vector/Qiongjiu Burn, and Tololo/Springfield Hydro are safer investments than isolated carries.

B. Event stage farming compositions

For normal event farming, speed is king. AoE characters such as Klukai and Leva can clear enemy groups quickly, while mobile Dolls reduce wasted turns crossing the map.

Once a stage is safely auto-cleared, consistency matters more than squeezing out another theoretical 5% damage.

C. Stability break optimization strategies

Look at Stability as a second health bar you need to solve before the real damage begins.

Exploit ammo and Phase weaknesses, use Dolls with strong Stability damage early in the action order, then save your largest burst for after the enemy becomes exposed.

D. Confectance Index farming teams

Confectance Index isn't a material you “farm” from stages. It is an in-combat resource used by Doll skills.

The real optimization is building rotations that generate enough Confectance Index to use important skills at the correct time.

XII. Platoon Boss and Endgame Content

A. Best Platoon boss teams

Qiongjiu remains excellent against bosses because allies can repeatedly trigger her support attacks. Tololo brings strong single-target Hydro pressure, while Sabrina can stabilize the team when survival becomes an issue.

That said, a true Phase-focused boss team will usually outperform a generic Qiongjiu/Tololo/Sabrina core once your roster becomes deep enough.

B. Boss weakness exploitation by Phase

Always inspect the boss before building your squad.

A slightly weaker Doll hitting the correct weakness can outperform your favorite S-tier carry fighting into the wrong resistance.

C. Overburn uptime and burst rotation

Overburn matters primarily to Burn-based teams.

Apply your setup effects first, break Stability when possible, trigger Burn-related effects, then use your strongest attack while vulnerability and offensive buffs overlap.

D. Action Support damage maximization

Qiongjiu is the classic example. You want allies performing targeted attacks that repeatedly satisfy her Support Action conditions.

Good turn ordering effectively gives Qiongjiu several opportunities to deal damage during everybody else's turns.

XIII. Girls' Frontline 2 Reroll Guide – 2026

A. Step-by-step infinite draw tutorial

There is no infinite draw system in Girls' Frontline 2.

New players receive Beginner Procurement, a discounted banner that lasts for 50 pulls and guarantees an Elite Doll. You perform ten-pulls at a discounted ticket cost until the guaranteed Elite arrives.

For actual rerolling, use a fresh account, complete the opening tutorial, claim available rewards, spend your beginner and relevant banner pulls, and restart only if the account misses your target badly.

B. Best starter Dolls to target

For the permanent beginner pool, Qiongjiu and Tololo remain the two results I would be happiest to keep.

Klukai and Suomi are limited characters, so you cannot simply select them from Beginner Procurement whenever you want.

C. When to delete account and restart

Only reroll aggressively if you care about a specific limited character or you really want Qiongjiu/Tololo immediately.

GFL2 is generous enough that a mediocre starting Elite does not ruin an account.

D. Common reroll mistakes to avoid

Don't spend several days rerolling instead of playing. Don't assume pity transfers between completely separate banner systems. Don't chase signature weapons before obtaining the character.

Most importantly, don't mistake the standard banner for a selective infinite summon.

E. Free SSR Faye acquisition guide

Faye originally arrived as a welfare Elite through the Radiant Spirits event, where players could earn her by completing event tasks.

That free event window has already passed. In the current environment she can appear through available acquisition pools, but new players should not assume there is a permanent “claim free Faye” button waiting on every new account.

XIV. Gacha Banner Recommendations – September 2026

A. Current rate-up banners overview

Moonshroud Requiem is outdated for September 8.

The current major update is Chiral Redundancy Part 1, with rate-up banners for OTs-14, Basti, and Voymastina running through September 16.

Chiral Redundancy Part 2 begins September 17 and introduces Soppo.

B. Should you pull OTs-14?

OTs-14 introduces Resonance, a Phase designed to adapt to advantageous elemental calculations.

She's interesting and flexible, but I would not tell a brand-new account to skip essential supports just to chase her. Build one functional core first.

C. Should you pull Sextans?

Sextans' initial Moonshroud Requiem banner ended in August.

On a rerun, she is a strong Electric support option with offensive utility, healing, movement, and tile interaction. Electric-focused players should value her much more highly than accounts that don't own Leva or another Electric core.

D. Should you pull Eagletta?

As of this September snapshot, Eagletta is not the character I would frame as the key live banner decision.

Check the actual client schedule when her relevant banner arrives. More importantly, don't confuse her with Soppo's upcoming Freeze/Burn dual-attribute role.

E. Selective ticket priority list

For the permanent standard selector, Qiongjiu and Tololo are the cleanest priorities for most accounts.

Klukai can only be chosen when a special selection or Reunion-style banner explicitly includes her. She is not part of the normal standard 260-pull selector.

XV. How to Use Selective Tickets Wisely

A. Recommended SSR Character Selective Ticket breakdown

Always check which pool the selector actually uses.

The standard 260-pull reward is restricted to the permanent roster. Special Reunion or event selections can offer a much broader range of past limited Dolls.

B. Priority order for first selector

If you own neither, I generally favor Qiongjiu for long-term Action Support value, while Tololo is arguably easier for straightforward early progression.

If you already own one, taking the other usually gives more account coverage than adding another random standard unit.

C. Weapon banner optimization

Twilight Rose is Sextans' signature weapon, while Voymastina's current signature is 6P71, not “GP71.”

Qiongjiu, Klukai, Tololo, and other carries also have their own relevant signature options. Characters come before weapons unless your roster is already established.

D. Costumes vs characters: What to pick first

Outfits are cosmetic. They do not replace obtaining the combat character.

For account power, secure the Doll first. Buy costumes because you like them, not because a tier list tells you they increase DPS.

XVI. Weapon and Attachment Guide for Tier List Characters

A. Offensive vs defensive weapon priorities

Your primary DPS usually deserves your best offensive weapon first.

Supports and tanks can often perform their jobs using strong lower-rarity alternatives while you finish the carry.

B. Best weapons for Corrosion DPS

Klukai's signature Skylla is her premium option.

Basti's Dona Eis Requiem strengthens her specialized support kit. However, Basti usually does not need weapon investment before your main Corrosion carry is complete.

C. Best weapons for Hydro DPS

Tololo's signature is Planeta, while Springfield uses Radiance.

Tololo benefits directly from offensive scaling. Springfield should be built around maintaining her support and healing value rather than chasing DPS stats blindly.

D. Attachment and Remold Pattern upgrade roadmap

For most attackers, ATK, ATK percentage, Crit Rate, and Crit Damage are valuable attachment targets, although exact priorities vary by kit.

Do not burn expensive calibration resources on bad pieces. Build a usable set first and perfect it later.

Remolding Pattern becomes another long-term progression layer after Dolls reach the required level, so treat it as endgame optimization rather than something a new account must instantly max.

XVII. Fortification, MOD, and Reconfiguration Systems

A. Which characters deserve V2/V6 investment first

Fortification value depends heavily on the Doll.

Some units gain their important functionality at V1 or V2. Others receive major improvements much later. Never assume V6 is automatically necessary just because a character ranks S-tier.

Supports and team enablers often provide better account-wide value than adding another duplicate to an already powerful DPS.

B. MOD Doll priority – Nemesis: Gnosis, Soppo

This section needs a major correction.

Nemesis: Gnosis is currently the first MOD Doll. Soppo is not a MOD character. Soppo is a separate upcoming Elite Doll scheduled for Chiral Redundancy Part 2.

For the current MOD system, Nemesis: Gnosis is therefore the obvious priority because she is presently the available path.

C. Fortification breakpoints per role

For DPS, prioritize Fortifications that significantly improve multipliers, extra actions, support attacks, Phase mechanics, or resource generation.

Supports deserve copies when those Fortifications improve buff uptime, healing, shielding, tile generation, or teamwide damage.

D. Reconfiguration system explained

Do not confuse three different progression ideas: Fortification, Remolding Pattern, and Doll MOD.

Fortification uses additional Neural Images to unlock segments. Remolding Pattern strengthens developed Dolls through its own endgame growth system. Doll MOD upgrades eligible Standard Dolls into a separate Elite form with a new combat kit.

Treat each as a different investment layer rather than one giant “reconfiguration” mechanic.

XVIII. New Player Progression Roadmap

A. Story mode clear order and rewards

Push the campaign until level requirements or enemy strength stop you. First clears provide valuable account EXP, resources, and access to additional systems.

Whenever story progression stalls, improve your core team rather than spreading materials across twenty Dolls.

B. Daily and weekly resource farming routine

Spend Intelligence Puzzles instead of letting stamina cap. Complete daily tasks, event activities, Dispatch, Patrol-related content, Platoon activities, and weekly progression modes.

Event shops are usually among the best places to pick up limited resources.

C. Patrol, stamina, and mailbox optimization

Claim mailbox rewards before they expire and avoid wasting stamina regeneration.

Farm the resource currently blocking progression instead of stockpiling another material you already have thousands of.

D. Shop recommendations

“Golden Thread” belongs to another game's economy and should not be used in a GFL2 resource guide.

For GFL2, manage Collapse Pieces, Access Permissions, Targeted Access Permissions, Sardis Gold, Combat Reports, Analysis Blueprints, Stock Boost Bars, and Transcription Conductors carefully.

Collapse Pieces are especially valuable because they can become gacha pulls. Don't waste them casually.

E. Platoon tasks and event shop priorities

Join an active Platoon once the system becomes available. Gunsmoke Frontline and the newer Frontier Conquest give you additional progression opportunities that solo players can easily overlook.

In event shops, prioritize scarce character-development materials and pull currency before endlessly buying basic resources.

XIX. Common Mistakes to Avoid in Team Building

A. Mixing multiple phases inefficiently

A mixed team is not automatically bad, but five characters with zero synergy usually is.

Every slot should have a reason to exist.

B. Over-investing in low-tier DPS early

Early campaign enemies make almost everyone look good.
